Atlanta LEAD Institute Nonprofit Leaders Graduate

Class 16 and 17 Leaders of seven Atlanta nonprofits presented their organization to a panel of foundation and church representatives on June 15, 2016. Each leader had an opportunity to showcase their organization: it’s background, it’s programs, it’s accomplishments, and it’s needs. They then received ‘customer’ feedback from Elaine Franklin of One Hundred Shares, Debra Potter of Perimeter Church, Jeff Reams of Dunwoody Baptist Church, and Matt Seadore of North Avenue Presbyterian Church. The graduates and their coaches are (left to right): Paige Kolb, Surefire Prayer; Bennett Ekandem, Family Heritage; Tim Moore, L'Arche Atlanta; Ralph Bowlin (coach) and Tim Adcox, Heart of a Champion; Bill Ginn (coach) and Kimberlyn Abbey,Agape Womens Ministry; Missy Owen, Davis Direction Foundation; Stacy Brungardt and Angie Wessner(Coach) The Collective at Cumberland. Other coaches not shown are Greg Burnett, Bill Serravezza, and Billy Holley. These leaders have completed a ten-month nonprofit leadership program of classroom training in practical best practices, which highlight fundraising, board development, volunteer management, administration, and telling their story. “I am so grateful that LEAD has given me a voice for my ministry” said Stacy Brungardt of The Collective at Cumberland.
