Having an Impact: LEAD Graduate Mica Hill of Atlanta Pet Rescue

Atlanta Pet Rescue, led by Mica Hill, is a no kill shelter for dogs and cats. Over a thousand pets are adopted from Atlanta Pet Rescue each year. Their volunteer corps of over 450 provides 15,000 hours of service each year, a key success factor for the organization. "The Board Training was particularly important for my organization. As a new Executive Director I found the board needed work. Using the tools provided by LEAD training, we have reinvigorated our board" said Mica.
