Laura Keefe is Executive Director and Founder of YELLS (Youth Empowerment Through Learning, Leading, and Serving). YELLS empowers youth (Kindergarten to High School) in the Franklin Road area of Marietta. Their after school program equips the kids with leadership skills and training. YELLS then provides an opportunity to use these skills to grow as servant leaders. YELLS was founded by Laura in 2008.
“I have really liked the practical, step by step tools that LEAD provides. Our fundraising training showed exactly how to do it, with thorough and detailed instructions. I also find the deadlines force me to get things done and move ahead” said Laura.
“My coach Mac has been extremely helpful. He talks me through my insecurities and questions, and provides great guidance. I appreciate his extreme flexibility in connecting when needed” she added.
