January 25: Best Practices for Board Members
Do you wish some of your board members had a better idea of their responsibilities to your organization?
If you do, consider asking them to attend The LEAD workshop for Board Members. The training is a dynamic combination of lecture and discussion with a focus on best practices based on feedback from major Atlanta foundations. In this training session, your board will gain a clearer understanding of a Board Member's responsibilities, as well as how Board Members can be more effective in this role.
Here's what one Executive Director thought about our training:"The board training by LEAD was an excellent investment of time for my board. The interactive discussions and exercises created a wonderful learning environment. The training is frequently referred to during board meetings as we work toward making Gilgal the best it can be. Thank you for the quality training! "-Val Cater, Executive Director, Gilgal, Inc.
The workshop is Saturday January 25, 2020 from 8:30 am to noon, at Peachtree Presbyterian Church, 3434 Roswell Road NW, Atlanta, GA 30305.Cost is $125 per person, but if you sign up and pay by December 15, it is only $95. Contact us now to reserve a place for your Board Members. All of your board members will be seated together for enhanced discussions. To maximize the value of the interactions, attendance is limited.
