Workshops for Nonprofit Board Members

Board Roles & Responsibilities

Each January, the LEAD Institute offers an interactive workshop for Board Members that provides a robust overview of the roles and responsibilities of nonprofit boards. This best practices training is dynamic combination of instruction and discussion with skilled nonprofit trainer, Kevin Monroe.

Board Members learn their governing and strategic responsibilities to the nonprofits they serve and how to be more effective advisors.

Fundraising Made Easy for Board Members

Each Spring, the LEAD Institute offers an interactive workshop that covers the basics of nonprofit fundraising for Board Members. Gregg Pawlowski, long-time LEAD trainer and successful development professional, leads the session.

This training is specifically designed to help board members proactively engage in conversations with potential donors and provides practical training and tools to help fund the missions of nonprofits they serve.
